Founded by Martine Weitzel, a Luxembourg national, entrepreneur, company manager, translator, interpreter, and working mother, AuPairLux is a private company born from both professional expertise and personal experience. Throughout a diverse international career spanning banking, marketing, business management, linguistic services, and client service, Martine has always been passionate about connecting people and creating meaningful solutions.
Above all, she understands firsthand the realities of modern family life. As a mother juggling a demanding career while raising young children, and as someone who welcomed au pairs into her own home, she experienced both the challenges and the immense value of finding the right support. She knows the pressure of balancing professional responsibilities with family commitments, and the importance of entrusting your children to someone who becomes not just a helper, but a trusted member of the family.
This personal journey inspired the creation of AuPairLux, today a private company and boutique au pair agency in Luxembourg dedicated to au pair matching, placement and family counselling for international families.
